All transactions are in Australian dollars. All tickets are GST free.
Tickets are valid only when purchased from the Melbourne Writers Festival or an authorised agent. All bookings are final and all sessions are offered subject to availability.
No refunds or exchanges will be given except for those provided for in the Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Entertainment in Australia. This is available on their website
The right of admission is reserved. Patrons arriving late will not be able to be admitted into the venue until a suitable break in the event.
The right is reserved to vary, substitute or withdraw advertised programs, speakers and seating arrangements.
Cameras and other recording devices are prohibited. Mobile telephones, pagers and similar equipment must be turned off before entry into the venue. Patrons who disrupt an event may be asked to leave the venue.
Photographs will be taken for archival and marketing purposes, and purchase of a ticket grants implied permission to use the photos taken for these purposes.
Patrons are responsible for their own safety and property. To the extent permitted by the law, you release the Melbourne Writers Festival from any liability for any damage, loss, liability or injury you may suffer in relation to your attendance at a venue, howsoever caused including due to any negligence or other act or omission of the Melbourne Writers Festival. The Melbourne Writers Festival is not liable to you for any claims, damages, compensation, losses or expenses as a result of an event being cancelled, postponed or changed.
For safety and convenience, we recommend that students do not bring their school bags to the festival.

Receipt
A receipt for all your purchases is available from the ticketing system.

- Log in with your email address and password.
Lost passwords
If you do not know your password, you may submit a lost password request.
- Visit http://tickets.mwf.com.au/
- Click My Account
- Fill in your email address and click Continue.
Your password will be reset and emailed to you.
Lost tickets
If you lose tickets, it is possible to reprint them from the ticketing system.
- Visit http://tickets.mwf.com.au
- Click My Account
- Log in with your email address and password.
- Click Print Tickets next to the correct booking you wish to reprint.
This will download a PDF file of your chosen tickets and will allow you to reprint them.
